For the past two decades, I have dedicated myself to the study of martial arts, beginning with Wing Chun, and wrestling before transitioning into Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) ten years ago. My experience spans a variety of historical weapon systems, including the arming sword, longsword, sword and buckler, sidesword, rapier, and sabre, drawing from the works of Liechtenauer, Talhoffer, Paulus Kal, Fiore, Marozzo, Capo Ferro, and Fabris.

In the last five years, my focus has been on the military sabre, particularly the early Napoleonic era systems. I have studied the works of Roworth, Angelo, Musgrave Waite, and Hutton, refining my understanding of their techniques and principles. My approach to teaching balances historical accuracy with modern application, integrating competitive play and salle dueling with the more structured, pragmatic methods of the early masters. I place strong emphasis on biomechanics, correct posture, and disciplined technique, ensuring that each movement is both effective and efficient.
